What started as Trackside — a humble burger joint — grew when Chef Mike felt called to build something more: a full barbecue and catering destination that brings people together.
A family dream
Behind every brisket sliced and every batch of scratch-made mac and cheese is the steady encouragement of Mike's wife and the inspiration of their three kids. This smokehouse exists because of them — and it's built to welcome yours.

Coming home to Joplin
We're putting down roots at 1203 E. Broadway Street along historic Route 66, opening July 2026. We can't wait to pull up a chair for you.
